MAINTENANCE CONTROL

K80 Quality Assurance Manager Responsible for QA activities on an airport wide basis to include preventive maintenance & corrective maintenance activities, conduct studies, evaluate breakdown incidents and recommed improvements, corrections of maintenance procedures and criteria. Acts as Site representative. Must have 10 years experience in maintenance management or quality assurance activities at a mojor airport or similar facility. BS in electrical, mechanical or maintenance management. MUST HAVE PRIOR AIRPORT EXPERIENCE.

K23 Superintendent, Maintenance Control Responsible for the activities of the Work Control Center, Estimators, Planners, Schedulers, Preventive Maintenance Analysts, Equipment Data Analysts and Reports Section. BS Engineering plus business administration with 10 years experience with at least 6 years upper post in major industrial or commercial enterprise. Combined experience may be in lieu of degree.

K24 Chief, Work Control Responsible for daily activities of work control, equipment control, planning and estimating and scheduling sections. Supervises scheduling of periodic maintenance of KKIA vehicles, systems & equip based on the MMS System. Solve technical problems. Establish record keeping system and procedures to record and analyze use, cost, manpower requisitions for airport. Establish maintenance standards. Interfaces with Engineering Planning BS Engineering , with 10 years experience in similar post at large industrial complex. Minimum of 4 years supervisory experience. Combined experience and management of 15 years may substitute for degree.

K40 Supervisor, Service Desk Supervise 24 hr service desk for acceptance and dispatch of maintenance and emergency requests from employees and occupants of the airport. Train & schedule staff to communicate and coordinate maintenance efforts for all departments. utilize various communications media (telephone, pagers, radio) to perform duties. Maintain log of all significant activities in compliance with airport policies. Keep management and operating departments informed on key matters. *


K72 Lead equipment Controller Supervise 24 hr Equipment Control Center (ECC) to monitor and coordinate activities and restoration of service associated with all equipment, systems & facilities critical to passenger movement. Train, schedule & supervise staff to monitor, reset and report service interruptions to all equipment associated with passenger movement including elevators, escalators, baggage handling, people movers, loading bridges etc. Coordinate "Red Tags" for same. Maintain constant communications with Service Disk using telephones, radios and pagers. Keep management and operating departments informed of interruptions. Diploma in technical/business field with 6 yrs similar exp. (including 3 yrs super exp). Or 8 years combined mgmt & applied exp in lieu of degree.

K41 Supervisor, Planning & Estimating Supervise all planning & est of man-hours, materials, costs, down time etc for maintenance and projects for all equipment, systems and subsystems. Includes replacement cost estimates, work phasing and feasibility studies for initial government approval of corrective and/or project work maintenance reports. Direct all group activities for maximum efficiency. Verify & approve subordinates work for accuracy and compliance with standards. Resolve technical and material problems. Interface with engineering department. Certify that all work is properly entered and processed in the appropriate date systems. Generate reports. Monitor and evaluate staff. *

K42 Planner & Estimator Plan & estimate corrective & project maintenance work within assigned disciplines including electrical, electronic, mechanical, pneumatic and civil works. Plan work for maintenance including layouts, materials, work phasing, man hours and cost estimates of individual work orders or projects. Specify & arrange all special instructions, equipment and tools required for efficient completion of all jobs. Utilize existing computerized systems for recording all activities and arranging materials. Develop & submit project plans for approval prior to implementation. K43 Supervisor, Preventive Maintenance Supervise & train analysts for full implementation of the preventive maintenance programs throughout the airport. Direct group to ensure proper issuance and completion of PM work orders. Ensure accuracy and completeness of all PM master plans & schedules. Generate new or modify existing plans as required. Interface with engineering and maintenance groups to ensure maximum efficiency. Review changed and replacement equipment for inclusion in plans. K44 Analyst, Preventive Maintenance Analyze equip, system and subsystem performance to ensure a comprehensive and effective preventive maintenance program throughout KKIA. Monitor performance of equipment maintenance & determine patterns requiring adjustments to existing plans, take necessary action to optimize performance. K45 Supervisor, Equipment Data Monitoring Supervise EDM group & ensure a complete computerized inventory of KKIA assets. Inventory, tag and make data entry to government data systems of KKIA assets. Maintain minimum stock level requirements in LIS system for parts and material to ensure availability for performance of all maintenance activities. Prepare reports. *

K46 Supervisor, Reports & Analysis Supervise & train personnel to provide computerized reports and analysis of daily activates, labor costs, sched maintenance completions, backlogs, inventory etc. Generate reports/analysis from data in the MMS & LIS systems for Government to monitor contractor performance. Produce various configurations of labor cost reports. Report scheduled, completed and backlogged maintenance statistics,. Provide spare parts catalog info for LIS & MMS requirements. K52 Supervisor, HVAC/Refrigeration Supervise & train personnel of HVAC/Refrigeration group including field work for inspections, installation, repairs, removals and modifications. Translate work orders, sketches & blue prints into completed quality work. Solve tech problems in shop & field. Generate materials requests. Monitor and evaluate staff performance. Includes maintenance of air handling units, air conditioners (window, split & central), compressors, air curtains, fans freezers, chillers, refrigerators, evaporators, filter banks, heat pumps, heating units, pumps, ice machines, water cooler etc. Skilled in the use of test equipment air flow and balancer, electrical, Freon leak, megameters, multi meters, refrigerant and oil change equipment, soldering equip., vacuum pumps, vibrometers, carbon generation, filter washing and oiling equipment. Minimum 10 years experience in HVAC systems installations with 4 years supervisory exp.

* UTILITIES DIVISION

K26 Superintendent, Utilities Responsible for all utilities. Must have thorough knowledge of power generation and distribution, water collection and treatment, waste water treatment, heating and cooling. Oversees team of chiefs and engineers. Coordinates with other departments. BS Mechanical/Elect or 15 years experience, Electrical License, water treatment cert. At least 10 years experience in the field with 4 years upper management in similar post.

K27 Chief, Electrical Power Oversees all activities relative to power generation, HV distribution and power generation. Coordinates, supervises, assigns work force. Solves technical problems. Maintains M&R record. BS Mech/Electrical, with ten years in field including 4 yrs supervision. Or 15 years combined experience in lieu of degree.

K71 Supervisor, Power Generation Supervise & train personnel of group including field work for inspection and operations. Translate work orders, sketches & blue prints into completed quality work. Solve tech problems in shop & field. Generate reports & materials requests. Respond to emergences. Monitor and evaluate staff performance. Includes operation of fixed power generation equipment at two principal locations and 75 satellite locations. *

K53 Supervisor, High Voltage Distribution Supervise & train personnel of HV distribution group including network monitoring and restoration though government provided control system. Keep management & operating dept informed of service interruptions & planned outages. Monitor power dist. network & use control system to effect restoration. Skilled in use of AM/FM radios or tower signal system to move safely on the airfield. Includes runway, taxiway and apron lighting fixtures, current monitors and associated control circuits, aircraft docking loops, 400 Hz supplies, signage & other electrical services located in the air side area of the airport. *


K56 Supervisor, UPS System Supervise & train personnel of UPS maintenance group in preventive and corrective maintenance. Translate work orders, sketches & blue prints into completed quality work. Coordinate with field forces to solve technical problems. Generate reports & notifications of alerts to management and essential users. Generate materials requests. Monitor and evaluate staff performance. Includes various capacity UPS control systems, inverters & associated battery plants throughout the airport. *

K28 Chief, Water Treatment Responsible for operation of reverse osmosis, pre-treatment and standard water treatment systems. Supervises staff, solves technical problems, maintains records, req. supplies, establishes and maintains specification manuals. BS Mechanical Engineering or other degree with certification in field. 10 years industrial/commercial experience with 4 yrs in supervision.

K69 Supervisor, Water Plants Supervise & train group personnel in monitoring & controlling operations and preventive and corrective maintenance of swimming pools, fountains and ice plant on a 24 hour basis. Translate work order & blueprints into completed quality work. Coordinate with field forces and other departments to solve related technical problems in shop & field. Generate reports & materials request. Monitor & evaluate staff performance. Responds to emergencies. Includes utilization of government provided control system for monitoring and control of wells, treatment plants, pumping stations and distribution of potable, fire, high purity and utility waters. *

K04 Superintendent Communications, Electronics Manages overall maintenance of the entire communication, electronics and control systems. Develops operation and procedures policies, solves technical problems, coordinates with other department heads, supervises chiefs & engineers. Systems include remote multiplexing control terminals, digital data communication control systems, HVAC controls. BS in Computer Engineering/Comm with emphasis in OEM Control Systems. 15 years management of a large similar system organization or facility with at least 8 years total supervisory experience.

K05 Chief, Telephone Systems Administration of telephone system, operations, repair, maintenance airport directory service, phone requests and operator service. Solve technical problems. Supervise and assign staffing. Reporting functions, develop and implement policies and procedures. Requisition supplies and equipment acquisitions. Electronic Switching System Western Electric Model 1A (1AESS) which contains both Centrex and exchange services, telephone switches and peripherals, outside & inside plant. Includes coin service and customer service. Approximately 15,000 subscriber lines, 400 coin lines and 2,400 trunks. BS Comm./Electronics Eng. 10 years experience with 4 years supervisory experience in state of the art telephone technology, with broad based experience in installation, modification and repair & 1AESS switch gear.

K10 Engineer, Central Control Systems Provides technical assistance to field system repair and operation personnel. Solves technical problems. Assist in systems op, testing & repairs. K11 Engineer Central Computer Systems All activities related to system operations, personnel, including software maintenance & overall system monitoring. Supervise staff, establish shifts. BS Instrumentation/Control, 15 years experience with 6 years as super in large airport or industrial complex. Must have thorough knowledge of process of HVAC and refrigeration, instrument calibration and maintenance.

K13 Engineer Local Control Systems Provides technical assistance to field system repair and to operation personnel. Assists in system operation, testing, repairs, maintains and updates technical documents of DDS department, schedules & provides training, interface with system analyst & central engineering. .BS Electrical, Control Systems, programming FORTH, 5 years prior experience in Control Systems, familiar with utility systems. Prior Airport exp.

K15 Chief, Fixed Equipment Responsible for fixed equipment, elevators, escalators, walkways, loading bridges, mechanical conveyors, inspection systems, mechanical/electrical systems. administers specialized maintenance services, solves technical problems, assigns work crews, request supplies and parts, maintenance records,BS Mechanical, Electrical. 15 years experience with 6 years in supervisory position.

K76 Chief of Postal Systems Maintenance Provide technical assistance to the field system maintenance and to the operation personnel. Solves technical problems, schedules maintenance personnel, maintains manuals, updates drawings and documents all changes. Ten years experience in passenger baggage x-rays, walk thru metal detectors, bomb disposal units, design, application, operation and maintenance. Bs mechanical/electronics with computer training. Airport operations and maintenance experience a plus.

K16 Chief, Printing & Reproduction Responsible for color offset printing, graphic camera work, color separation & plate making techniques. Supervise Print shop staff. Establish polices and controls. Maintain records. Tech Certification Printing/Reprographic Equipment, 10 years experience with 4 at supervisory level in commercial printing plant.

K02 Chief, Heavy Equipment Maintenance & Operation Responsible for all the heavy equipment to include knowledge of diesel engines, heavy vehicle repair & equipment operation. Implement preventive maintenance, solve tech problems, assigns staff, maintains records, Supervises staff, daily reports. 2 years tech diploma, plus completion of a training in heavy equipment. 10 years experience with 4 years as supervisor. Must have at least 5 experience in diesel mechanics.

K17 Chief, Procurement Responsible for all purchasing to support contract, all departments. Supervises both foreign and domestic buyers and expediters. Establishes procedures and policies. Secures bids when necessary, insures integrity of ordering controls and control of purchases. BS Business Administration, 10 years experience with 4 at supervisory level. Must be bi lingual in English & Arabic.

K67 Supervisor, Material Supervise & train material coordinators & expediters in the coordination of delivery, receiving and availability of materials, parts, supplies, equipment and services for the operation of the airport. Translate material shipping receipts into completed quality work. Solve tech problems with shippers, requesters and suppliers. Utilize computerized system for processing and recording transactions. Generate reports as needed, Monitor & evaluate staff. *
